Here at TigerHawk Preschool, our staff is determined to make your child's experience the best it can be. We believe that every situation is a learning opportunity and our staff makes it their priority to make meaningful connections with each student throughout the day!
Mrs. Kullen
Emily Kullen attended the University of Northern Iowa and received a Bachelor's Degree in both Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. She has an endorsement in both Literacy and Special Ed.
Emily lives in West Union with her husband, Jon, son, Wallace, and puppy, Sage. She loves to line dance, sing, and enjoys the outdoors. She often tries to incorporate her love of movement, music, and nature into her teaching style.

Leah Scholbrock
Shirley Durnan is the associate for the 4 year olds. Shirley lives in Elgin with her husband, Leo. Together they have nine kids. You will often find her creating works of art in the art center, making the best snacks, and tending to any students that needs her.
Miss Shirley is certified in PBIS, CPI, CPR, and also holds her Para I and II certification. What makes her unique and special to us, is her big heart and her willingness to help. Thank you Miss Shirley for all you do for these kids!
Yvonne Kleppe
Mollie Franzen graduated from Waldorf College with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Mollie lives in Wadena with her two kitties, Ella and Lola. She loves chips and salsa and spending time with her friends and family.
She will be working in our room this year, and we could not be more excited to have her! She is able to relate to the students so well, and in turn, creates many special bonds with each of them. Thank you Mollie for all that you do for the kids! We are lucky to have you as a part of our team!
